Silverware and Jewellery
An MA Silversmithing graduate from Birmingham in 1976, he established his workshop in Worcestershire. He works to commission as well as producing collections of contemporary Silverware and Jewellery that are sold throughout the UK and abroad.
His inspiration is rooted in the purity of natural form and the man-made geometry of engineering and architecture.

“My personal language is about balance. The ultimate goal being to achieve the perfect equilibrium between form and function.”
He enjoys the manipulation of silver, using its malleability to produce flowing form, its reflective quality to emphasise line. He uses coloured golds, precious stones or platinum to express the wearers’ personality.

In commission work, he draws upon an element significant to his client. Whether it be an entire dinner service constructed around the precise curve of the tail feather of a rare pheasant, a ceremonial mace inspired by the form of an aeroplane wing, or diamond ring celebrating the style of the wearer.

He is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths; Vice Chairman of the British Jeweller’s Association, and a founder member of the Association of British Designer Silversmiths.
