About Cynthia Lea
A graduate of Liverpool and Stoke-on-Trent Colleges of Art, Cynthia produces her characterful ceramic sculptures in Raku and stoneware from her studio in Worcestershire.
Individually designed ceramic animal and bird scupltures, Cynthia's unique range of one-off pieces incorporates rare breed chickens and cockerels along with other characterful animal studies, offering the opportunity to experiment with glazes and oxides on richly textured surfaces giving each piece a unique quality.
Some are Raku-fired, while others produced in stoneware clays are frost-resistant and can be used to add interest to the garden or are equally at home on a warm hearth or as a decorative feature in a country kitchen.
