Gavin draws inspiration from the shapes and forms found in nature, engineering and mathematics to design unique and interesting pieces that are both elegant and simple in form. He uses sustainably sourced temperate hardwoods, preferably locally grown and enjoys employing interesting techniques such as laminating and steam-bending as well as the skills of traditional cabinet-making.
