Contemporary Rag Rugs

About Jenni Stuart-Anderson

Admiring a rag rug led Jenni to trace the maker who shared techniques she had used for 50 years.' With a background of teaching spatial design in London, it was a short step for Jenni to offer workshops to keep the traditioonal recycling craft alive.' Bringing rag rug making into the 21st century with contemporary designs, Jenni makes bespoke rugs and wallworks, prefering to source materials locally.

This traditional craft, upcycled for the twenty-first century, is used by Jenni to create rugs, wallworks and decorative items. Jenni offers courses and creative breaks and works to commission. Her first book, in its fifth reprint, is followed by More Rag Rugs & Recycled Textile Projects.
